D M Singh

Dawn always found comfort in books as a child and from a young age and could be found reading or writing. Her first attempt at fiction was at 10 years old and was entitled Hippo In The House.
Dawn wrote and illustrated the book about a little girl, who returns home to find a Hippo in her bathtub and the trouble they get into trying to return the Hippo to the zoo.

This was a turning point as Dawn decided that from that moment on the only thing she wanted to do was write, she also decided that she would never be an illustrator as her drawing skills were somewhat lacking, to say the least

Fast forward a few years after school and Dawn married, had three children and completed a degree in counselling and psychology. She returned to writing in 2005 when she had an overwhelming flood of ideas for several stories and began writing immediately at every opportunity.

Dawn’s has released 2 books in the Regina trilogy as well as a stand-alone book. Dawn's debut novel Regina: The Monster inside hit number 10 on the Amazon best-seller charts last year in the UK as well as reaching number 8 in the US.

Since then Dawn has hit the Amazon best-sellers list an amazing 4 time. Regina: The Monster Inside was nominated for by readers for best YA indie book 2016. Dead Normal was also nominated  and won a SIBA book award voted for by readers in summer 2017.

Dawn will be a guest at the 2018 Inspirational Women in Literature Conference in Sacramento. She will be joined by speakers such as Marylin Hawes (2017 inspirational woman of the year), as well as figures from Harpo, BBC and USA Today best-sellers.
